Notice to Customers With No Domain

Please note that we do not provide domain names with the purchase of a DRS Folder. If you do not own a domain name, feel free to speak with your onboarding specialist and we may be able to help you choose one for you to purchase.

We highly recommend going with one of the providers below. You don’t need to purchase hosting from your domain registrar, as we will host your website. You can just purchase the domain, and you can also purchase email if you like.

Once you've purchased a domain name, inform your Onboarding Specialist who will be able to give you information on how to share access with our team to use once your site is ready to be published.

Notice to GoDaddy Customers

Because GoDaddy requires users to setup Two Factor Authentication (Phone/Email Verification) we can not use your GoDaddy Login. Instead, we require that customers Delegate Access & Folder Permissions to us by logging into their account and sharing access by following the steps below.

Step 1: Delegate Access

1. Go to your GoDaddy Account Settings. If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to log in.
2. Click Delegate Access.
3. In the People who can access my account section, click Invite to Access.
4. Enter the Name and Email address for the person you're inviting.
   • Name: DRS WebDevs
   • Email: [email protected]
5. Select one of the access levels. If you're not sure what this means, check out our explanation of access levels.
6. Click Invite. We'll send the person an email invitation to access your account. Once the person accepts, we'll let you know. That's it!

Step 2: Assign Us Folder Permissions

1. Log in to your GoDaddy Domain Control Center. (Need help logging in? Find your username or password.)
2. Select Settings > Manage Folders.
   
3. Select the pencil icon next to the folder to edit the permissions.
4. (Optional) Edit Management Access settings first by selecting the pencil icon next to the All Domains folder, then toggling access for each individual delegate. This folder grants or removes access to all domains in your account.
   

   Note: Delegates can only modify domains in folders you've granted them access to, including the All domains folder.

5. Toggle the icon to On or Off under Management Access and Transfer Access to add or remove permissions for each delegate. Each access type grants permission to different domain actions:
   
   • Management Access
     
     • Update contact information
     • Edit nameservers
     • Edit hostnames
     • Edit forwarding
     • Lock or unlock
     • Edit auto-renew settings
     • Manage subdomains
   • Transfer Access
     
     • Move to another GoDaddy account
     • Transfer to another registrar
     • Delete domains
     • Sell domains via auction
6. Select Save to complete your changes.
